We all have had this moment in our lives where an elder has lectured us on none other than Vegetables! We can be very picky with what veggies we like and what we don’t. Personally speaking I am one of them, but with time I have come in agreement on the benefits of vegetables.  There are some veggies that I still won’t eat but I have learnt a new way to enjoy them.

Just like fruit salad is a mixture of fruits, health drinks are a blend of various vegetables which in most cases are difficult to chug down. Every vegetable is vital in its own way and helps us benefit in some way or the other. Health drinks help us in the following way:

  • Provides necessary nutrients
  • Strengthens immune system
  • Helps with mental alertness
  • Increases energy
  • Anti-aging
  • Facilitates weight loss
  • Helps ease digestion
  • Uplifts mood

As individuals, we all have to face our problems. Be it anemia, lack of energy, problems with eyesight, skin issues, digestive problems etc. Many would opt for an easier way out by utilizing medication but consider the harm it can do to your body. The best way is to research which vegetables are necessary to help tackle a given issue and make it a point to have these health juices on a daily basis. For best results, you should use fresh vegetables and drink your juice at least half an hour before breakfast.

My everyday Recipe

1 small Beetroot

1 medium Carrot

1 stalk celery with leaves (Optional)

1 floret broccoli (Optional)

1 small leaf spinach

½ Apple

Peel and cut the vegetables into small cubes.

Wash thoroughly then blend with 1 glass of water.

After blending, sieve and drink immediately.
