The much anticipated and Publicized Kiumeni Movie Premiere went down this weekend at The Prestigious English Point Marina, Local Movie Fans, directors, models, Celebrities and Top Industry Players were treated to a unique Red Carpet experience of its kind.
The event which was well planned and executed left most of the stars realizing that Mombasa holds a potential for major things ahead.
The captivating Movie which tells a story of a young man coming from a wealthy family who then falls in love with a girl from a poor background, the challenges involved in this relationship is well played in the movie.
Directed by Nicholas Marwa, The movie included big names in the Tanzania Movie Industry, Ernest Napoleon of Award winning Going Bongo, Idris Sultan Former Tanzania Big Brother Finalist, Antu Manadoza who took role of lead Actress and Irene Paul.
The Premiere in Mombasa was Sponsored by The Ministry of Sports and Culture via Kenya Films Classification Board. Speaking at the event, Mr Silas Kioko the coast Branch manager of Kenya Classification board who was representing the Chief guest of honor Dr Ezekiel Mutua, lamented the government support in regional corporation that will see the Kenya Film industry grow to higher heights.
The event was also attended by Miss Tourism Mombasa Miss Babelyn Mukila, Ashiner Pictures CEO Ann Hamburger, Daudi Anguka who recently won an award in Nigeria, Events Organizers John Chachaa, Ring Ring Entertainment, Models Ruthalia Bernard, Actresses Khadija Mohammed, Kibibi Salim, Maryam Ada, Liz Bana, Shirlyn and a ray of Top coast Celebrities.
The event was Organised by Coastal Films Productions through Hassan Faisal and Ummulkheir Mohammed. While other major sponsors included English Point Marina, Modern Coast Bus Service, Mombasa Kids Festivals and Rich Gang Classic wears.
