A second generation Somali refugee at Mackinon market in Mombasa Kenya on 30th December 2015.  Somalia has been a scene of clashes between government forces and #alshabab since 2006. The Somalis share a common language and the difference in dialect do not prevent them from understanding one another.The Somalis have lived throughout their recorded history in the Horn of Africa. Lastly the nomadic way of life, the pastrol economy and the Muslim religion are common to most Somalis.
