Play: Boeing Boeing

Bernard (Peter Mbugua) is an architect, who loves fast cars, lives in a lavish bachelor pad and has his hands full in the romantic department. He has three “mpango wa kandos” (Ann Awour Amoth and new comers Marian Kayongo and Maureen Habowya) all of whom are air hostesses. He has ingeniously arranged it so that their layovers don’t overlap, keeping each woman unaware of the others. (Isn’t this every bachelors dream), with the aid of Truphena (Georgia Lenny) his “Domestic Manager.”
Bernard’s foolproof scheme comes crashing down when the airlines introduce faster jets. With all the girls set to arrive at his apartment at once, things get more muddled when his high school classmate Robert (Ashik Yusuf) pays him a surprise visit with a scheme of his own.
“It all boils down to juggling timetables, a reliable DM who never forgets to change photographs and a friend who can’t remember the last lie he told and to whom”
Boeing Boeing is an amazing play that will keep you on the edge of your seats.
