Africa is rising so fast especially with introduction to technology. The young generation has received it but is faced with a lot of challenges. They engage in all the wrong things and give wrong reasons for the same, and of course we can’t blame them! Children don’t have the right reasons to access technology. The education system neither gives them any, and is still the same and does not have much to relate with as pertains real hands on exposure.

This is a brain child concept of one Paul Akwabi (an award winning ICT innovator in the National innovation week 2016-ICT/entrepreneurship organized by National Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation). Tech Kidz Africa is a Mombasa-based startup incubated at Swahilipot hub, mentored by Mahmoud Noor and other great team of advisories and trainers. Tech Kidz Africa dares to take a less popular path in learning; to return play and fun to children while they learn technology.

Tech Kidz Africa is a program that has taken a step to make children’s lives more fun, giving them right reasons and purposes to explore their interests, passion and innovativeness in Technology by training them in software development, robotics, Graphic design and character development.

Why Character development? Every child needs to learn how to live with other people in their community with modesty regardless of who they are. No matter how much they can accomplish above others, they need to respect others and be humble.

Our objective is to enable every enrolled child come up with a product of his/her choice after the six months training, empowering the next generation of young people to come up with greater innovations and make the young children be at per with the trending dynamic technology.
