Jamila Hassan aka Jammy is professional communication specialist in Mombasa, founder of Life in Mombasa. Her passion for Mombasa has made her start this blog, to showcase Mombasa through photography and blog posts. Jammy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts emphasis on Interpersonal communication from Metropolitan State University in Minnesota (USA). 

She started Life in Mombasa to showcase the vibrant culture, historic background and modern day Mombasa. A winner of the Best County Blog in the Blogger Association of Kenya (BAKE) Awards 2016, 2017 and 2018, BAKE recognizes and awards exceptional Kenyan bloggers in different categories every year.
